Mariani

Forty years in business – an important market position are the assets of a company that has changed generations also in terms of its ownership structure, reaching a turning point in terms of dynamism and paving the way for technological innovation. With Nicola Leali now at the helm, Mariani is decisively focusing its research on alternative materials. In particular, there is an entire catalogue devoted to stainless steel, with a comprehensive project that goes from handles to accessories – but without overlooking safety factors [safety plate and strike]. Mariani’s “study and research” department also works closed with companies specializing in robotics that are open to innovation and to attempting news ideas. The design aspect has been developed with the support of the After Design studio, a young and dynamic company. Mariani is now headed by an entrepreneur who is under 30 and is thus in touch with the needs and expectations of younger customers. The concepts distinguishing this market segment are a love for design, quality and practicability, coupled with the search for less expensive items. The new Aladin and Pegaso models, in the various finishes that have been presented, successfully unite all the different expectations of the younger age bracket. The lines characterizing the new models move away from traditional forms, and their market prices are decidedly “sift”, to meet the needs of consumers on a limited budget.
